Position: Certified Work Comp Specialist (not currently hiring)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates internal operational departments to ensure service levels meet or exceed client expectations and protect the firm from Errors & Omissions (E&O).
  • Ensures quality of deliverables and enforcement of critical deadlines through effective communication.
  • Communicates with each team member, promoting and encouraging a positive team atmosphere.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with client executives, client representatives, carriers, & vendors.
  • Assist with marketing projects to ensure objectives are met in a cost-effective manner and serve the best interest of the client and company.
  • Develops, trains, and coaches client staff to ensure the COMPTROL process is utilized efficiently and effectively. 
  • Ensure all COMPTROL client claims continue to set the benchmark for Best Practices.

 

Skills

  • Clear and concise communication skills are required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Firm set of organizational skills, is self-motivated, and team oriented
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
  • Have a strong positive attitude
  • The ability to think “outside the box” and never is hindered by limited thinking.

 

Qualifications

  • Requires a High School education. 
  • 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Workers’ Compensation insurance knowledge would be beneficial, but not required.
