Position: Certified Work Comp Specialist
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinates internal operational departments to ensure service levels meet or exceed client expectations and protect the firm from Errors & Omissions (E&O).
- Ensures quality of deliverables and enforcement of critical deadlines through effective communication.
- Communicates with each team member, promoting and encouraging a positive team atmosphere.
- Develops and maintains relationships with client executives, client representatives, carriers, & vendors.
- Assist with marketing projects to ensure objectives are met in a cost-effective manner and serve the best interest of the client and company.
- Develops, trains, and coaches client staff to ensure the COMPTROL process is utilized efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all COMPTROL client claims continue to set the benchmark for Best Practices.
Skills
- Clear and concise communication skills are required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Firm set of organizational skills, is self-motivated, and team oriented
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
- Have a strong positive attitude
- The ability to think “outside the box” and never is hindered by limited thinking.
Qualifications
- Requires a High School education.
- 2 years of customer service experience.
- Workers’ Compensation insurance knowledge would be beneficial, but not required.
