Position: Account Executive/Certified Work Comp Advisor

Description:

Develop and implement customized risk management solutions for clients in the construction and manufacturing industries. Meet with clients to assess risk management needs. Perform an objective analysis and develop implementation process along with expected outcomes. Participate with marketing department in placement of insurance and bind coverage. Provide daily services to clients as part of post-sales services plan to ensure that risk management needs are met. Create and present renewal strategies for existing clients and lead the presentations to prospective clients. Continually monitor changing market conditions and inform clients and colleagues of developments affecting various types of coverage. Coordinate servicing workload of the Certified Work Comp Specialist on assigned accounts. 

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the continuing tradition of COMPTROL’s “Promises Made, Promises Kept” value system
  • Identifying new business opportunities from all available sources
  • Assisting with developing, presenting and executing sales plans to result in the broking of both Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Thoroughly understanding the workers’ compensation system and it’s cost drivers
  • Completing research on future potential clients
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of effective long term relationships with key decision makers through regular meetings and contact
  • Performing client and customer needs analysis to establish expectations, joint accountabilities, and identify opportunities
  • Responsible for implementing client specific solutions
  • Ensuring accurate, efficient and timely production of all prospective client documentation and administrative requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required
  • 4 year degree preferred
